And you can make those really hard cartons even easier to tackle by warming the scoop in a cup of hot water beforehand. Art For A Cause produces a unique line of beautiful, quality, hand painted tools for the home, kitchen and garden called CuteTools! Each top-quality steel product is hand painted in one of several proprietary designs to become fun and functional pieces of art. The company has engaged the community by employing individuals with special needs such as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, multiple scleroses and other cognitive challenges. The tools are sanded, primed, decoratively painted, and packaged. In addition to the social responsibility the company embraces, CuteTools arrive in attractive, unique sustainable packaging which encourages recycling and environmentalresponsibility. Each tool comes in a corrugated cardboard box which slides into a PVC outer sleeve to allow clear visibility of the product. Tucked inside is a package of basil seeds, filled and packed by the special needs students. The seed packets encourage consumers to utilize the cardboard as the medium for growing the seeds. Instructions for creating a “mini-greenhouse” are printed on each packet along with the company’s mission statement, “A company which strives to promote an improved work ethic for the preservation of our planet and its people. Plant a seed. Make a difference.”
