The Perfect Ice Ball Maker by Vice Cubes creates an impeccably clear ice sphere without any of the air bubbles that cause cloudiness in common ice cubes. The unique silicone mold freezes the water very slowly, allowing air bubbles to escape, therefore producing the Perfect Ice Ball.
An ideal gift for groomsmen and whiskey lovers, the 2 inch Perfect Ice Balls have less surface area than ice cubes, so they melt much slower and will not ruin an excellent scotch by watering it down quickly.
The Perfect Ice Ball Maker can also be used without the styrofoam casing to freeze juices and even fruit slices into ice spheres for a better party experience! (Please note most juices will not freeze as clearly as water will, but if the styrofoam casing is removed, the spheres will freeze much faster).
Follow freezing instructions provided on the box. Typically, it takes about 30 hours to produce two Perfect Ice Balls, but freezing time ultimately depends on the temperature of the freezer and the water used (we have been successful using lukewarm water). Tap or bottled water is fine. Wash all parts of the Perfect Ice Ball Maker before each use (everything but the styrofoam casing is dishwasher safe). Do not move the Perfect Ice Ball Maker during the freezing process for the best results.
